Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic company to engage with. Garry was really responsive and flexible with visit timings to fix a broken ac unit. Andrew was friendly, polite, prompt and resolved the issue in one visit despite it being a difficult job to problem solve. Great service, highly recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Refreshing to have a tradesman that does what he says he will and when he says he will do it. Garry is now my new AC guy and i would not hessitate to recommend him to anyone.

Loft and Attic Cooling

Converted lofts and attics offer valuable living space, but without proper climate control, they can quickly become uncomfortably hot — especially in summer. At Allstar Air Conditioning, we install bespoke loft and attic cooling systems that deliver consistent comfort all year round.

Whether it's a new bedroom, office, or playroom under the roof, we provide expert advice and installation services across London, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.

Why Cooling Lofts and Attics Requires a Specialist Approach

Top-floor spaces are particularly vulnerable to heat build-up due to:

Direct sun exposure on the roof
Poor insulation or ventilation
Limited natural airflow
Oddly shaped ceilings or restricted access

These factors make standard solutions ineffective. We install compact, high-efficiency systems designed specifically for these challenges — from compact air conditioners for loft rooms to ductless mini-splits.

Ideal AC Systems for Attic Spaces

Our range includes:

Wall-mounted AC units for lofts: Space-saving, powerful, and discreet
Multi-split options for larger conversions
Smart-enabled units with zoning features
Ultra-quiet models for sleeping or study use

For sloped ceilings and eaves, we offer customised installations that maximise efficiency without compromising aesthetics.

Smart Cooling Solutions for Attic Spaces

Tech-enabled cooling puts you in control. Our smart cooling solutions for attic spaces feature:

App-based temperature control
Integration with Alexa or Google Home
Adaptive scheduling
Energy monitoring

These are perfect for remote rooms or converted lofts used as offices, bedrooms, or studios — allowing precise management from anywhere in the home.

Year-Round Comfort with Heating & Dehumidifying

The best systems do more than cool. We provide reverse-cycle models that also deliver heating in winter and dehumidifying during damp seasons — creating year-round comfort in loft spaces.

This is particularly useful in converted lofts, which often suffer from condensation and fluctuating temperatures.

Energy-Efficient Cooling for Attics

All of our units are designed for energy-efficient cooling for attics, using inverter technology to regulate power and minimise energy waste. This results in:

Lower running costs
Stable temperatures
Longer equipment life
Improved environmental performance

Expert Installation, Even in Tight Spaces

We specialise in fitting AC systems in complex or hard-to-reach areas. Whether you need a unit in a sloped-ceiling room or limited wall space, we find a safe, discreet solution.

Every installation includes:

Full system design
Safe electrical connection
Pipework routing with minimal visual impact
Testing, calibration, and handover

Best AC Units for UK Attics

We install only trusted brands with proven reliability, offering the best AC units for UK attics from Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Panasonic. These are selected based on:

Room size and insulation
Existing roof type
Usage frequency
Noise requirements
